The Booster Club is a volunteer (parents, staff and supporters), non-profit organization promoting and providing financial assistance to all extracurricular activities at Sadie Halstead Middle School and Newport High School.
As of June '06' the Booster Club is a separate financial entity of Newport School District with strict ordinance of bylaws and elected officers.
Newport students are enthusiastic about their extracurricular activities but funding these activities is expensive. With continued financial difficulties of the district now more than ever there is an urgent need for a strong and active Booster Club.
